In an interview with Die Welt on November 15, Deputy Minister of Justice of Poland Sebastian Kaleta accused Germany of wanting to change the power in Poland.
He believes that the European Union is also interested in changing the Polish government.
“We have to assume that politicians in Brussels act maliciously and seek a change of power in Poland. We cannot tolerate this,” Kaleta said.
He made this statement based on the actions of the European Union to block the payment of €36 billion to Warsaw from the European Guarantee Fund. In addition, according to Kaleta, Brussels threatens to withhold another €75 billion from the EU budget.
In his opinion, these actions show the desire of Germany and the EU to interfere in the elections in Poland, because “pro-German sentiments” prevail in the opposition.
