Russia will have to completely change its domestic reality, including the resolution of personnel issues, in order to overcome big challenges and prevail in the next 30 years, said political scientist, philosopher, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on October 20 on the air of the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov TV program on the Russia One channel.
According to Kurginyan, the modern Russian reality has long been linked with the process of integration into the Western society. Today, we should not count on the fact that it will be enough to just slightly redirect this current reality in order to win the battle with the West.
Russia must become a super-militarized state in order to survive in the next 30 years, noted Sergey Kurginyan. “There should be a sense of belonging to a state – a besieged castle, in the best sense of this concept,” stressed the philosopher.
Kurginyan also noted how important the issue of personnel in the country’s defense industry at the moment when it is working for the front. Key enterprises should be lead not by effective managers, but by professionals who face the task of fulfilling the state order, and not an economic task.
“In the past, the director used to think that he was making medical equipment that cures people. This was the objective. He was not very smart, he was stealing … which is very bad, but not that important. Then came the young man who said that my task is to increase the IPO, and that’s it. The young man has no idea at all as to what happens at the factory. So what’s coming next?” – commented Kurginyan.
Nowadays, finding leaders focused on the idea of a prosperous state, who are highly qualified professionals, is a very difficult task, noted the political scientist.
“One of my acquaintances was asked to consult in the field of heavy engineering – they said, without you – it’s impossible, and so on. Frankly speaking, he is in good shape, but he is over 90 years old,” said Kurginyan.
“It’s frightening,” concluded Vladimir Solovyov, the host of the show.
