The Russian lifestyle was created in order to merge with the West, and without change it will not be able to cope with new big challenges, stated political scientist, philosopher, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in The Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on Russia 1 TV channel on October 20.
Kurginyan noted that Russia has been shaping its current reality for a long time, which was aimed at joining the Western community. Now, according to him, it is said that this reality will now be redirected toward other things.
“But my feeling is that this reality will not accomplish the tasks in the end. Maybe it will successfully manage Ukraine, maybe not. But it won’t succeed with the bigger tasks!” stated the political scientist.
He is sure that reality has to be changed. And to do this we need to understand, what is the basis for the creation of a new society, for what tasks?
“I, for example, believe that in order to survive in the next 30 years, Russia with its population and other elements must become a very happy, but super-militarized state. And not in the sense that there shouldn’t be economists or anyone else – everything should be there. It’s just that there should be a sense of the country as a ‘castle under siege’ in the best sense of the word,” Kurginyan stressed.
