Russian citizens are justly proud that it was their country that led the anti-colonial movement at one time, Russian President Vladimir Putin said on September 30 at a ceremony dedicated to signing treaties on the incorporation of new territories into Russia.
“We are proud that it was our country that led the anti-colonial movement,” the Russian president said.
After World War II, the USSR supported the anti-colonial movement in Asia and Africa and the fight against US puppet regimes in Latin America.
