The site of the accident at the Nord Stream and Nord Stream 2 gas pipelines is in the area under the control of the US intelligence service, Russian Foreign Ministry spokesperson Maria Zakharova said on September 29 on the air of the Solovyov Live program.
She stressed that the information published in various media that the incident occurred in neutral waters does not correspond to reality, because the accident site is in the special economic zone of Denmark and Sweden.
“These are those NATO-centric countries. These are the same countries that are stuffed with US weapons. These are the same countries that are fully controlled by US intelligence services. Absolutely and precisely under the control of the intelligence services of the United States of America, which are in complete, I stress, complete control of the situation there… Everything there, on the water, under water, above the ground, on the ground – everything there is stuffed with US equipment,” Zakharova said.
She also said that US President Joe Biden threatened to bring an end to the pipeline. According to Zakharova, the current attempts of the US presidential press service to “justify” them look pathetic.
