The concept of a limited contingent in relation to the special operation in Ukraine has proven insufficient for victory, political scientist, philosopher, and leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said in a special issue of Destiny broadcast on YouTube on September 10.
“The concept of a limited contingent was wonderful – it was based on the idea of not disturbing ‘the usual way of life,’ but of conducting an operation… This limited contingent is not enough. No technical capabilities of ours alone can compensate its limitations,” Kurginyan said.
The political scientist reminded that the entire West has entered the conflict against Russia, which supports Ukraine with military supplies, instructors, and reconnaissance. And in Ukraine itself they conduct one mobilization after another.
“When they say ‘multiple advantage’ somewhere at some directions, or at others, what is it generated by? And it is generated by the fact that we reasonably in relation to the existing way of life chose the concept of a limited contingent…
We did not engage in ideological mobilization of the population. On the contrary, we threw them into such a semi-consumering and moderately patriotic hibernation. While they mobilized the population and exploited not a limited contingent, but the whole force,” said Kurginyan.
The political scientist notes that Russia needs a three-million-strong army to win, and the attitude of the authorities and society towards that army must be completely different – both financially and spiritually. But this is not just about the army.
According to Kurginyan, the existing system, which is oriented toward turning Russian citizens into qualified consumers and integrating into the West, will ruin everything.
“No one can, and technically it is impossible to change everything at once. But right now and today we need, first of all, to understand what is going on. And secondly, slowly, persistently change our way of life,” believes the leader of the Essence of Time.
