The DPR and LPR units and the Russian Armed Forces took the villages of Zaytsevo and Dacha under their control, the official Telegram channel of the DPR Territorial Defense Headquarters reported on August 19.
“At present, the DPR and LPR units with fire support from the Russian Armed Forces have liberated 270 villages and towns, including Zaytsevo and Dacha,” the statement reads.
According to the DPR Territorial Defense Headquarters summary, as of August 19, 12 villages and owns came under fire as a result of shelling of DPR territory by Ukrainian punitive forces. As a result, five people were killed, 23 civilians were wounded, 21 houses and three civilian infrastructure facilities were damaged.
