The territory of the KNAUF-Gips factory on the outskirts of Soledar is under full control of the units of the People’s Militia of the Lugansk People’s Republic, assistant to the head of the republic’s Ministry of Interior Vitaliy Kiselyov wrote on his Telegram channel on August 9.
“Units of the 6th Cossack regiment of the LPR People’s Militia took the territory of the KNAUF-Gips factory in the southeast of Soledar under full control. Clashes are already taking place in the adjacent streets of the city,” Kiselyov wrote.
Earlier the head of Chechnya Ramzan Kadrov stated that Russian troops took the Soledar factory of Knauf-Gips under their control. He also pointed out that the Akhmat special forces and the second corps of the LPR People’s Militia are successfully defending the territory from the Banderites.
