Ukraine was prepared in advance for an assault against Russia by the adoption of the “lend-lease act” and the deployment of cruise missiles to Ochakov, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on May 9 on a Victory Day rally.
Kurginyan believes that what is happening now to Ukraine requires a serious analysis. “Over eight years, an absolute hatred of the Russians based on an insane ideology was being raised there, and this hatred was saturated with weapons,” the political scientist stressed.
Long before February 24, the beginning of the Russian special operation, the United States and a number of Western countries substantially prepared Ukraine for a war against Russia.
“The so-called lend-lease of the United States and other Western countries allocating a total of almost $100 billion for the militarization of Ukraine was adopted long before February 24,” the leader of Essence of Time explained.
The expert reminded that the USA introduced a bill to ship weapons to Ukraine as early as in January, which made it clear that Ukraine was being prepared for an assault against Russia. The assault was prepared in Ochakov, where cruise missiles were gathered for a strike on Donetsk.
“It [the assault] is now unfolding together with insane weapons shipments to Ukraine and mad anti-human anti-Russian bans violating all the norms for which these people used to campaign themselves,” Kurginyan insists.
According to Kurginyan, the West violates all the possible norms without any regard for the ideas of a global economy, a global culture, and global ties.
“All this is brutally and fiercely directed against us, it tolls for us, and it seeks our death,” the political scientist concluded.
