Any Western attempt to demonize Russia and Communism inevitable results in the rehabilitation of Nazism, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on the Dialogues program on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio on May 12.
“If even the Western leaders have gone as far as saying ‘Glory to Ukraine ― Glory to the heroes!’ and demonstrating the respective salutes, this must mean that they are moving in a certain direction. If doing this they demonize Russia, then as soon as they demonize Russia and Communism they legitimize Nazism,” the political scientist explained.
According to Kurginyan, the supporters of the Nazi ideology across the globe chose Ukraine as a starting point. And their start was very successful: the fascists managed to take control over a major European state? which is in the focus of the global community’s attention.
“The Ukrainian Nazism is a bud for a European one, and the European one is a bud for a global one,” this is how Kurginyan explained the nature of the Ukrainian Nazism.
The political scientist noted that ideology has an internal law: if two ideological poles clash, suppression of one of them inevitably strengthens the other one. According to this law, the elimination of the communist USSR inevitably gave the green light for the ideological monopoly of its primary opponent, fascism.
According to recent reports, the House of Representatives of the US Congress approved the allocation of $40 billion military and other lend-lease to Ukraine.
On February 16 at the European Parliament, the speaker interrupted the speech by Latvian MP Tatyana Zhdanok who demonstrated a photo of a child killed by a Ukrainian drone in Donbass and expressed concern that Nazi slogans were heard from the European Parliament rostrum. The speaker demanded that the MP must “stop the disinformation and leave the rostrum.”
After the MP was interrupted, some MPs accompanied her leaving the rostrum chanting “Glory to Ukraine!”
“Glory to Ukraine!” was chanted by US legislators, too, upon initiative by Speaker of the US House of Representatives Nancy Pelosi.
