Robbing the oligarchs by the United States can frighten neither the Russian state nor the Russian people, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 28 on The Great Game program on Channel One.
US President Joe Biden said that he would submit legislative initiative to the Congress to allow using assets confiscated from Russian businessmen to help Ukraine. “This package of proposals will establish new authorities for the forfeiture of property linked to Russian kleptocracy, allow the government to use the proceeds to support Ukraine,” Biden said.
Kurginyan reminded that the oligarchs were warned long ago that bees collect honey not to eat it. The purpose oligarchs exist for is to collect money and bring it to the West. However, the “expropriation of expropriators” can hardly upset the people of Russia, the political scientist believes.
“What I cannot understand is how this could frighten, first, the Russian state, and second, our people. This is called to scare a hedgehog with a naked butt. What is Blinken trying to scare the Russian people with? ‘We will expropriate Aven’s assets for you to cry all day long!’” this is how Kurginyan commented the absurdity of this idea.
The political scientist noted that if the USA expects that the oligarchs will become hostile and make up something against Russia, this is a mistake. The oligarchs cannot do anything, he stressed.
At the same time, along with this comedy around robbing the Russian oligarchs, the USA seeks to destroy the Yalta-Potsdam world and to organize, under its own leadership, a new and even more Nazi world.
