The USA is losing global leadership, but it will provoke wars in order to keep it, said political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on April 18 on The Great Game program on Channel One.
“The United States is becoming degraded… It is getting weaker. But the weaker it becomes, the more wars will take place,” Kurginyan noted.
The political scientist reminded that in 2001 it became clear that the USA was not ready to maintain its hegemony using its “legions” worldwide, i.e. hundreds of thousands of soldiers in Iraq, Iran, and other countries.
“Then how will it maintain its hegemony if it is not strong enough anymore? It is very simple: by creating madness across the globe… If you cannot improve your domestic situation you can worsen it in a neighboring country,” Kurginyan said.
The political scientist noted that the world is changing before our eyes, and not only within the Ukrainian episode. And the changes will not end with the Ukrainian crisis.
“We must understand that the world is entering an era of wars. And this era will last a hundred years at best,” the leader of the Essence of Time movement said.
