Employees of the Lugansk Ministry of State Security (MSS) found the facts of subversive activities carried out by Lugansk residents of the Lugansk team of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM), the republic’s MGB press service reported on April 16.
“The Ministry of State Security implemented a set of measures, during which documented the facts of intelligence and other subversive activities by residents of the Lugansk People’s Republic from among the OSCE personnel,” the press service said.
“It was established that these persons, at the request of the OSCE SMM employees of foreign nationals for a long time collected classified information in the military and socio-political spheres of the LPR,” the press service added, noting that the information collected was provided to members of a foreign organization and was used to the detriment of the security of the Lugansk People’s Republic.
The press service of the agency reminded that earlier the LPR MSS detained two employees of the Lugansk team of the OSCE SMM, who were suspected of high treason.
“At present, the LPR MSS are taking operational and investigative actions in the OSCE office in Lugansk aimed at documenting the lawless activities of employees of the international organization against the security of the Lugansk People’s Republic,“ specified in the press service.
The delegation of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission left the hotel Slavyanskaya on March 1, 2022 in Lugansk. Its staff left in an unknown direction.
