The withdrawal of the US military from Afghanistan was a brilliant solution to create a tremendous source of chaos in the region, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan in an interview to Anna Shafran on the Komsomolskaya Pravda radio on April 12.
According to Kurginyan, in spite of the reputational costs, the US’ decision to leave Afghanistan was brilliant, because it resulted in huge problems for the countries of the region. “But ideologically it is brilliant, just brilliant! They left a tremendous source of chaos after them,” Kurginyan assessed.
He indicated that Taliban (organization banned in Russia) in Afghanistan is closely related with al-Qaeda (organization banned in Russia) and ISIS (organization banned in Russia). The members of the mentioned terrorist organizations have become relatives.
“Therefore, [the USA] created a source of chaos, which will keep hitting at China, Pakistan, India, Iran, and ourselves ― at Central Asia and us,” Kurginyan explained.
He added that this strategy of chaos is called the Carthage strategy, in which all the countries except Washington must “burn in flames” for the “Carthage” to continue decaying and immersing into various end-of-days perversions.
The US military urgently left Afghanistan in August 2021. The withdrawal of the US army was associated with a triumphant seizure of power in Afghanistan by the groups of Taliban (organization banned in Russia).
