On the Kharkov direction, Russian troops have succeeded: the village of Topolskoye, Izyum district, Kharkov region, has been liberated during combat against tank-enforced Ukrainian army units, the Defense Ministry press service posted a corresponding message on its website on April 11.
According to the message, Russian motorized riflemen on BMP-2 infantry fighting vehicles and PAV-82A armoured personnel carriers came into close contact with the enemy and demonstrated their firepower with salvos from the guns of armored vehicles, hand grenade launchers and flamethrowers. The demoralized Ukrainian tankers at first, shouting loudly, requested artillery support, but soon finally lost the will to resist and surrendered.
In the liberated village of Topolskoye and on its outskirts, brand-new Ukrainian tanks with full ammunition were the trophies of Russian motorized riflemen.
The press service of the Russian Defense Ministry posted a video of the short combat.
