While the special military operation in Ukraine is under way any political provocations in Russia are extremely dangerous: with tensions rising, Russian society reacts painfully to any attempts by the authorities to take any steps back, said philosopher, crisis analyst, the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan during the new issue of The Meaning of the Game program called The Russian Destiny and the Will of History or What Russia is Fighting for in Ukraine published on April 5 on the movement’s YouTube channel.
In 2014, certain political provocateurs in Russia spread the “Putin betrayed us” mantra, recalled Kurginyan. A certain military adventurer, who was in the town of Slavyansk at the moment, was crying out loud that he had not enough weapons, and that Putin is letting him down. “It was a blatant lie! Then, no one betrayed anyone!” – stressed the expert.
“Those who were saying the ‘Putin betrayed us’ mantra, they were the ones who truly acted like traitors”, explained the political scientist. He shared the story of how certain provocateurs who left the town of Slavyansk and negotiated the safe passage with the Right Sector (an organization banned in Russia). The Donbass republics would have no longer existed if such provocateurs had not been stopped in 2014, .
“Therefore, I really think that hysterical, wild cries during a military operation aren’t good. Like my grandmother said – it’s not good to dwell on the shortcomings, sometimes huge shortcomings of the campaign. Read what Tolstoy said – it is not good!” – emphasized the analyst.
If we analyze the peace talks with Ukraine situation, then evidently it is a provocation game played by the Ukrainian thugs and their British handlers, noted the leader of the Essence of Time. According to him, even if we suddenly imagine that Zelensky signs agreements recognizing Donbass, then Zelensky would be killed by his own Nazis.
“Explain to me: why would the Ukrainian side do this? This is their finest hour, they had received billions of dollars, they will be happy to pocket them. Ukraine is in the center of public attention, the Ukrainians love it so much, they already are shouting out that this entire new century will be Ukrainian-centric. They devour it as if it was honey,” – describes the logic of the Kiev regime Kurginyan.
The Ukrainian leadership is indifferent to the fate of Ukrainian cities, they need the Nobel Prize and the applause of the US Congress, said the expert. In his opinion, Russia also is not going anywhere from the liberated territories; because otherwise, the entire political system would go head over heels. At the same time, Russian President Vladimir Putin emphasizes over and over that there is nothing to agree on with the current government in Kiev, and without the recognition of Crimea and Donbass, there will be no agreements.
“The situation is being presented as though Putin betrayed the troops. And this a result of several forces in action. This is an attack from the right-wing patriotic side, the same as that provocateur had done, when he screamed ‘Putin betrayed us’, and then cowardly ran away who knows where like a scared rabbit. It’s the same type of attack, it’s a remake. And it also is the desire to return to the status quo, and make the situation reversible among those who wish to get along with the West. They don’t know how. They just really want to,” said the political scientist.
The logic of Russia’s special military operation in Ukraine makes it impossible for the Kiev regime to sign any agreements with Russia, and for Russia to leave the liberated territories of Ukraine, emphasized the analyst. According to him, the Russian military should act as they must, and politicians have no right to draw conclusions regarding the regroupings of the armed forces that do not match reality.
“It could be deadly dangerous! It’s a society, the public sentiment cannot be sacrificed for the sake of military regrouping. Keep the popular support high, and carry out maneuvering as you must – you have such right as military leaders,” concluded Kurginyan.
