A criminal case has been initiated following an attempt on the life of the commander of the People’s Militia of the Donetsk People’s Republic Sergey Popov, the press service of the DPR State Security Ministry said on February 15.
It is noted that the attempt on the commander’s life has been qualified as a terrorist attack.
The improvised explosive device was installed on the floorpan of the commander’s car. It went off in the morning when the commander was driving his daughter to school. Popov is currently in hospital in a state of moderate severity.
The girl is in a state of concussion and shock, but received no visible injuries.
