The West needs Ukraine to suck out resources and wage war against Russia, stated political scientist and leader of the “Essence of Time” movement Sergey Kurginyan in the program The Right to Know on January 23 on TVC TV channel.
The political scientist said that unlike in Russia, where the liberal and conservative elites are somehow capable of maintaining agreements with each other, there is no consolidated “we” in post-Soviet Ukraine. Being internally disconnected, the country keeps trying to enter Western civilization.
“Ukraine decided that since it had been part of the Russian empire, and the Ukrainians were its tsars, I mean, Soviet General Secretaries, and so on and so forth. And they lived there safe, wealthy, and sound. Now they’re going to join a better empire, a Western empire, and become a dependent part of it. That’s the point. Isn’t it? What are all these Maidans for? What for? Exactly for this purpose. Was it really that bad for Ukraine in Russia? What does Ukraine want?” – asked the political scientist.
This Ukrainian choice has led to a catastrophic decline in all the vital parameters for the country’s population. And this process will continue, because the Western empire has no intention to develop its colony, because it has a different approach to its periphery.
“The Western empire has a different fundamental approach. You join it, and now they take you and suck out everything they can like with a syringe. The weaker you become, the better, because you will be more obedient,” the expert stressed.
Kurginyan is sure that this empire needs Ukraine only as a tool for a proxy war with Russia. “What does this empire need from you? War! What else can you do?” – the analyst wondered.
“So, the essential question for you was which of the two empires to join. You (Ukraine) had the suspicion that the Russian one no longer exists, that it also depends on the US. And you behaved in such a way that if you listen to America, and America tells you something, there will be no Russian independent voice. Now it has been heard in Crimea, Donbass, and beyond,” Kurginyan said.
