Tenth Russian military plane left for Italy to help combat the coronavirus, the Russian Defense Ministry Press Service reports on March 23.
The Il-76 military transport aircraft has left for Italy from Chkalovsky airfield, says the Press Service.
This is the tenth aircraft, which was sent to Italy as part of an official mission to assist in the fight against a new type of coronavirus.
The aircraft took off to Italy with “Russian military specialists, equipment and property”, says the report.
The reports also says that Russian military specialists will begin to perform their tasks after agreeing with the Italian side on the areas of deployment and disinfection measures.
