The Donetsk People’s Republic is ready to respond symmetrically if the Ukrainian side withdraws from the Minsk agreements, the Foreign Minister of the DPR Natalya Nikonorova said on March 8, according to the Donetsk News Agency.
According to the minister, Ukraine should “scrupulously, unconditionally, strictly and literally start to fulfill the Minsk agreements in coordination with representatives of the republics.”
According to the reached agreements, Kiev must provide Donbass with special status and introduce it into the Constitution.
Also, the DPR foreign ministers said that if the President of Ukraine Vladimir Zelensky continues to follow the way of “armed confrontation,” the Donbass republics will “symmetrically respond” to provocations.
