Washington’s dialogue with Jabhat al-Nusra (organization banned in Russia) is intolerable, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Lavrov said at a press conference on the outcome of his talks with the Foreign Minister of Tajikistan Sirodjidin Muhriddin on February 24.
Lavrov expressed concern with the relations between a number of the Western states, including the USA, and Jabhat al-Nusra (organization banned in Russia), which they believe, according to Lavrov, “to be not really a terrorist organization, with which a dialogue is possible under certain circumstances.” The minister called these moves “absolutely intolerable.”
Jabhat al-Nusra (organization banned in Russia) is officially on the UN Security Council lists of terrorist organizations and the US national list of terrorist organizations.
