Military intelligence of the Netherlands knew that there were no Buk anti-aircraft missile systems in the area of the downing of the Malaysian Boeing in the Donbass, the Bonanza Media independent journalist portal reports on February 17.
According to the journalists, reliable sources reported that flight MH17 was flying outside of all known and active Ukrainian and Russian positions. And military intelligence used this information.
The point at issue is the positions where the 9K37M1 Buk M1 system that allegedly shot down the aircraft were deployed. A letter stating that there were no such launchers in the area of the disaster was sent from [the Dutch Military] Intelligence to the public prosecutor at the National Prosecutor’s Office on Counter Terrorism on September 21, 2016. The journalists published a copy of the letter.
That is, on the eve of the JIT joint investigative group press conference held on September 28, 2016, the Dutch authorities did not have any information about Buks in Donbass. There was also no reliable information that any Russian Buk M1 crossed the border with Ukraine not only prior to the disaster, but also at any time during the conflict.
Journalists Max Van der Werff and Yana Erlashova founded the Bonanza Media platform. They also made the MH17: Call For Justice film.
Currently, the international investigation team, which has questions about the results obtained by both the official structures, as well as journalists and the public, four people are suspected to be involved in the disaster: Ukrainian Leonid Kharchenko (call sign Krot) and three Russian citizens: Sergey Dubinsky (call sign “Khmuryi”), Oleg Pulatov (call signs Gyurza and “Khalif”) and Igor Girkin (Strelkov, call sign “Strelok”).
The trial is due to start in the Netherlands on March 9. Earlier, Bonanza Media also published a transcript of a conversation between Dutch police officers and an unnamed witness who claimed that exactly a few minutes before the plane crashed, two Ukrainian fighter jets had been over the area.
