To date, there is no reason to accuse Iran of the crash of the Ukrainian airliner, the Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia Sergey Ryabkov said on January 10 in an interview to journalists during his visit to Tokyo.
According to Ryabkov, no loud statements regarding what caused the Ukrainian Boeing crash must be made until experts make an examination and come to a well-founded conclusion.
Previously, the Prime Minister of Canada Justin Trudeau said that the Ukrainian Boeing-737 that crashed in Iran was shot down with an Iranian ground-to-air missile, referring to intelligence reports and other “reliable” unidentified sources.
In response, the head of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization Ali Abedzadeh said that the airliner that crashed in Iran was not shot down.
