The victory in the Great Patriotic War is irresistible proof of the victorious nature of the Russian spirit and the ideas of communism, as activists of the German unit of the Essence of Time movement said on May 9 at an event that they organized to celebrate Victory Day in Munich, a correspondent of the Rossa Primavera News Agency reports.
350 people took part in the event. The participants joined the “Immortal Regiment” column to march across the center of Munich. The marchers were carrying many photos of their combat veteran ancestors as well as flags of the USSR and the Russian Federation.
A ceremonial rally took place after the march. The speakers congratulated the participants with Victory Day, stressing the importance of its role for the contemporary generation and urging all of us to continue the struggle for the ideals for which the soldiers of the Great Patriotic War were fighting.

The participants recalled the milestones of the war, sang war songs, and recited poems about the war. The event gathered both professional artists and ordinary people. Many Germans joined the rally, too.

After flowers were laid, the organizers addressed the rally with a closing speech, in which they encouraged the participants to remember about their duty before the ancestors and to cherish the memory of the past, as well as to keep the spirit of unity achieved on this day of celebration.
This is the third time in a row that the German unit of the Essence of Time movement has organized the celebration of Victory Day in Munich.
