The US administration has launched preparatory actions to subsequently send a US fleet into the Black Sea, CNN informed on December 6 citing its own sources.
CNN states that US military command asked the US State Department to notify Turkey of the future deployment of vessels into the Black Sea.
CNN’s sources say that the US is justifying its actions by the incident involving Ukrainian vessels.
On November 25, Ukrainian naval vessels violated the Russian border and tried to pass under the Kerch bridge without the border service’s approval, but were detained by the Russian Federal Security Service personnel.
