This morning, on January 10, 2018, specialists of the Emergency Situations Ministry in Gorlovka finally evacuated two residents of the Zaitsevo village, who were blocked in their own house as a result of the Ukrainian shelling, the acting head of the city administration Ivan Prikhodko said on January 10, Donetsk News Agency reports.
“Today around 8 AM, we managed to evacuate two residents of Zaitsevo, who were blocked in their own house“, Prikhodko said.
According to him, at present the evacuees are safe.
On January 9, approximately at 20:00, Kiev military forces have opened fire at the northern suburbs of Gorlovka by a tank. As a result, in the village of Zaitsevo, a house located on the Krasnye Partizan Street, 26, was damaged. Two people were blocked in the house: a 50-year old man and his retiree mother.
Special services of the Donetsk People’s Republic suspended the evacuation of civilians due to the continuous shelling.
