The US administration’s position is to not include Russian citizens in the UN peacekeeping mission, in case such a mission will be deployed in eastern Ukraine The Washington Post’s online version stated on November 26, citing Kurt Volker, the US Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations, TASS reports.
Previously, Volker expressed his opinion about the UN peacekeeping force. According to him, it should control the entire territory of southeast Ukraine, including the border with the Russian Federation, and not just the contact line of the opposing sides.
The Washington Post’s article cites Volker’s radical words. According to him, a true U.N. peacekeeping force should be deployed in Donbass, which must have access to the Ukraine-Russia border and not have any Russian personnel in it.
At the same time, the US Special Representative talks about the desire to continue negotiations with Russia regarding the Ukrainian crisis and hopes that the UN peacekeeping plan gives a better hope for a return to Minsk-2.
On November 10, The Wall Street Journal stated that the US has the intention to invite Russia to deploy 20,000 international peacekeepers across the territory of Donbass. However, the peacekeepers should be placed under the auspices of the OSCE, and not the UN. The publication informed that negotiations between Washington and Moscow on this issue will begin in the near future.
Kiev supported the idea of placing a large international contingent across the territory of Donbass.
On November 11, Russian President Vladimir Putin, answering journalists’ questions, said that no official proposals from the US on this issue have been received yet.

Deploying a large peacekeeping contingent across the entire territory of Donbass implies an immediate occupation of the rebelling republics, taking them under the control by the Ukrainian Bandera regime with the inevitable genocide of “Moskals and the Moskalized“.
The absence of Russians in such a contingent will make it possible to achieve total and absolute control over this contingent by the West.
