Researcher Evgeny Fursov demonstrated the ideological connections between the prominent American political scientist and statesman Zbigniew Brzezinski’s (1928-2017) family and the Polish anti-Russian doctrine of “prometheism” at the conference “Ukrainism: who constructed it and why”, a Rossa Primavera News Agency informed on October 12.
“Zbigniew Brzezinski’s father, Tadeusz Brzezinski (1896 – 1990), was a high ranking diplomat. He was born and received his education in the Lvov region, which he advocated as an inalienable part of Commonwealth of Poland (known until 1791 as the Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth). Tadeuzs Brzezinski was an active proponent of the Polish so-called “prometheist” policy. The very same policy, according to which the Ukrainians, Georgians, Tatars, and others are “oppressed” ethnicities which, akin to how Prometheus was tortured by the eagle, are being tormented by Russia, and they must achieve their freedom through battle,” Fursov told.
Whether it is Tadeuzs Brzezinski, his son Zbigniew or his grandchildren, Jan and Mark Brzezinski, all of them are devout “prometheists”, battling vehemently so that Ukraine is unable to build relations with Russia as, according to their conviction, such a union is the only way for Russia to regain its status as a world power, says Fursov.
The researcher reminded that many American and European politicians are zealous students and followers of Zbigniew Brzezinski.
A prominent representative of “prometheism”, the early 20th century Polish leader Jozef Piłsudski, once said, “… I must come to Moscow and write on the Kremlin wall: ‘Speaking Russian is prohibited’”.
The “prometheists” planned to create a widespread federation of anti-Russian countries, which would include Ukraine, Belarus, the Baltics, Finland, the Caucasus, etc.
The scientific-practical conference “Ukrainism: Who constructed it and why” took place in Moscow on October 11 and 12, organized by Essence of Time social movement and Experimental Creative Centre International Public Foundation. The emphasis of the researchers, who presented a monograph by the same name via the conference, was not on real history of Ukraine, which is firmly connected with Russian history, but the fundamentally anti-Russian construct of “Ukrainism”, which had been created over many centuries, and which the present Ukrainian regime is actively implementing.
