The US knows it has the right to interfere in the internal affairs of other countries, since it believes itself to be the master of the world, Sergey Kurginyan, the leader of the Essence of Time movement, said on June 8th during the First Studio talk show.
Kurginyan noted that discussing Russian hackers’ interference into the US elections is idle and futile. It is clear that the Americans cannot provide any evidence. The political scientist noted, when talking of a hacker, it is generally difficult to prove “to whom he is connected, and where those ties are found.” To assert that a hacker worked under orders from the Kremlin is almost the same as saying that “after reading seventeen reports, we found out that a witch with three wings sat on Mr. Trump’s right shoulder”.
According to the political scientist, the rationale for accusing Russia comes from an internal political struggle within the American elites.
Sergey Kurginyan explained further that all that is not about Russian hackers. “The core question is another. They want something different. They want to prove that Trump personally used Russian assistance to drown out all his opponents and to become the winner. This is what the elite is after, and not Russia.” He noted that while the United States is accusing Russia of interfering in the internal affairs of other countries, it does exactly this. The political scientist added that, “The existence of a fundamental inequality is not articulated yet. But the fact remains, when the US interfere, they believe it is in accordance with the law, because only their country is the master of civilization. But when Russia interferes, this, of course, cannot be lawful, since Russia is a country which must be obedient to the global master. And this is the main asymmetry in the minds of people, which cannot be yet articulated in words. However, sooner or later this will be formulated and clearly pronounced. Trying to prove interference by the United States is like proving over and over again that two plus two remains four. The US steps in, and it meddles in the affairs of other countries anytime it wants, and any way it wants. The answers given are always, ‘one, our cause is good, and second, we act as the owners of the world. ‘And who are you? How dare you judge us?’”
Robert M. Gates, the 22nd United States Secretary of Defense, recently said that Moscow’s attempt to influence the results of the recent US presidential election is revenge to America’s “color revolutions” in Eastern Europe.
