The Ukrainian side increased the volume of the shelling on the several parts of the front, but, in principle, the situation remains calm, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on April 22nd.
The intensity of fire increased on the Gorlovka direction. The Ukrainian army attacked the DPR PM positions in the area of Zaytsevo and Zhovanka. The situation is tense in the area of Shirokaya Balka and Krasny Partizan. The enemy is using tank guns, mortars, automatic grenade launchers, infantry fighting vehicles, and small arms. There was also information on the Ukrainian side’s shelling along the Svetlodarsk direction.
There is information on occasional trench combat is Avdeevka industrial zone, in the area of Spartak and Trudovskiye, on the Dokuchaevsk part of the front, and in the Novoazovsky district of DPR.
There is no information on victims among civilians and destructions.
On April 21st, the Ukrainian army violated ceasefire 39 times and shelled the territory of DPR. 13 towns and villages came under artillery fire.
