The Ukrainian military continue to increase troop strength in the zone of conflict. The enemy conducts the rotation of the units and redeploys heavy artillery to the contact line, a source in the Donetsk People’s Republic People’s Militia (DPR PM) informed a Rossa Primavera News Agency reporter on April 19th.
The tensest situation is observed in the area of Zaytsevo and in the north of Gorlovka. The Ukrainian army opened fire on the DPR People’s Militia with mortars and small arms. Ukrainian drones conducting aerial recon were noted in the sky over Donetsk.
There is no information on the victims among civilian population and destructions of the residential infrastructure.
The situation is relatively calm along the whole contact line. However, the Ukrainian army redeploys military hardware and heavy artillery to the front line; the enemy also conducts the rotation of the units in the areas, where the breakthrough attempts are expected to take place. These actions are indicating the Ukrainian side’s preparations for the offensive.
DPR PM intelligence informs on the redeployment of the Ukrainian military in the area of Coke and Chemical Plant. The units of the 12th Battalion of the 72nd Independent Mechanized Brigade are noted in the area of the enterprise.
According to recent information, on April 18th, the Ukrainian army shelled 14 towns and villages of DPR. The Ukrainian side violated ceasefire 36 times.
