Trench warfare and shelling of towns and villages of Donetsk People’s Republic don’t cease on Gorlovka, Donetsk and Mariupol directions. The Ukrainian side is firing artillery, IFV guns, automatic grenade launchers and small arms.
Ukrainian military continue to shell Zaytsevo village in the north of Gorlovka. Spartak village in the north of Donetsk, Aleksandrovka, Staromikhailovka and Trudovskie villages in the west of the capital came under fire as well. Elenovka village and Dokuchaevsk were shelled, one house was damaged in the latter. The Ukrainian side targets Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in its shelling, as a result of which local residents have no power supply for the second day straight, since repair crews can’t reach the place.
DPR recon reported discovering up to two platoons of “Akatsiya” self-propelled artillery guns in the area of Novotroitskoye village west of Dokuchaevsk. Positions of two 120mm mortar platoons were discovered in the area of occupied Avdeevka, a platoon of 82mm mortars was discovered in the area of Maryinka.
According to updated information, on December 9 Armed Forces of Ukraine violated the ceasfire 1275 times. The enemy fired on villages on Gorlovka, Donetsk, Dokuchaevsk and Mariupol directions. Ukrainian forces fired 35 122mm and 152mm artillery shells, 301 120mm and 82mm mortar shells, as well as opened fire by IFV guns and small arms.
