The situation on the contact line stays tense. Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to shell towns and villages of Donetsk People’s Republic in frontline districts. The enemy once again attempted to breach the defense of People’s Militia on the Mariupol sector of the front.
By the evening trench warfare erupted in the western and northern outskirts of Gorlovka in the area of Zaytsevo, Golmovsky, Shyrokaya Balka villages and Gagarina (Glubokaya) mining village. The enemy actively uses UAV air reconnaissance.
Ukrainian army shelled a number of towns and villages on Donetsk sector of the front by large caliber artillery and mortars. The enemy fired on Vasilevka, Krutaya Balka, Zhabichevo and Spartak villages, as well as Yasinovataya. Aleksandrovka and Trudovskie villages in Petrovsky district of the capital came under fire, one civilian was injured by the shelling.
Ukrainian army’s 30th independent motorized brigade’s 3rd battalion’s recon group was neutralized today south of Donetsk, in the area of Novotroitskoye village. The group got lost due to thick fog and stepped into DPR People’s Militia positions. The enemy suffered losses of two people dead and three injured. Dokuchaevsk and Belaya Kamenka village of Telmanovo district of DPR in the same sector of the front were shelled.
The situation was especially tense once again on Mariupol sector of the front. Today DPR People’s Militia servicemen repelled the attack of Ukrainian militants that tried to breach the frontline in the area of Vodyanoye village. The enemy lost at least five people dead and eight injured. Sosnovskoye, Vodyanoye, Kominternovo, Leninskoye and Sakhanka villages in the southern sector of the front were shelled.
According to updated information, on November 25 Armed Forces of Ukraine opened fire on frontline areas of the Republic 1629 times. The enemy fired 137 152mm and 122mm artillery shells, 449 120mm and 82mm mortar shells. On all sectors of the front Ukrainian army fired grenade launchers, IFV guns and small arms.
