The officers of the Lugansk People’s Republic (LPR) Ministry of State Security discovered a mass grave of the victims of Ukrainian nationalist battalions in Lutugino district, the press service of the Ministry informed on October 20th.
“The mass grave was found in the wooded area near the Lutugino-Beloye road, 1 km away from Lenina village of Lutugino district. According to the information, a checkpoint of Ukrainian National Guard and nationalist battalions was stationed near the village in 2014,” the press service explained.
“Upon inspection, MSS officers revealed the fact of the atrocious crimes and genocide of its own people by the Ukrainian army. Remains of three unidentified people, presumably, men, were found in the mass grave. Upon examination of the remains, it was found that the hands and legs of the bodies were tied with a blue and yellow bicolor (the colors of the Ukrainian state flag – Editor) adhesive tape, which was used by the militants of the Ukrainian terrorist battalions. All the corpses have bullet holes in their temples,” the press service added.
At the moment, the clinical examinations are conducted to establish the cause of death. The officers of LPR Interior Ministry are engaged in the reburial of the remains.
