Ukrainian military shelled three cities and five villages of Donetsk People’s Republic during the evening and night, two houses burned down, a source in DPR Defense Ministry told Donetsk News Agency on Saturday.
“The result of shelling by the Ukrainian side is the burned down houses on 19, Chekhova street and 31, Lugovskaya street in Petrovsky district of Donetsk. It is Trudovskie village,” the source said and added that Ukrainian forces shelled from the occupied Mariinka village by 82mm mortars and AGS-17 automatic grenade launchers.
According to him, Yasinovataya and the area around it, Elenovka, Dokuchaevsk, as well as Aleksandrovka and Staromikhaylovka villages and the area of Abakumova mine in the west of the capital, Spartak village and Kominternovo village got shelled by the Ukrainian army.
“A total of 51 120mm mortar shells and 80 82mm mortar shells were launched from the positions of the enemy between 20:00 [of June 17] and 02:00 [of June 18],” the source added.
At noon on June 17 a woman was injured as a result of shelling of Trudovskie village of Petrovsky district of Donetsk as a result of shelling by the Ukrainian army.
