Russian Aerospace Forces aircraft attacked 187 terrorist infrastructure targets and eliminated more than 50 militants and 10 foothold bases of terrorists in two days, the official representative of the Russian Ministry of Defense, Major-General Igor Konashenkov said on Wednesday.
“Over the past two days 62 sorties on 187 targets were conducted in the provinces of Hama, Raqqa, Deir ez-Zor, Aleppo and Homs. The bomber aircraft SU-34 destroyed more than 10 enemy foothold bases in the area of the Katra village, Hama province. As a result of airstrikes, engineering structures of terrorists have been completely destroyed, and more than fifty terrorists were neutralized,” Konashenkov told to “Russia-24” TV channel.
