Russian army liberated the village of Zavetnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), the enemy has suffered significant losses, the press service of the Russian Defense Ministry stated on September 5,
“As a result of active actions of units of the Group of Forces Tsentr, the village of Zavetnoye in the Donetsk People’s Republic has been liberated,” the statement reads.
It is also noted that the Russian army in the DNR defeated the enemy’s manpower and military hardware in the areas of the towns of Dzerzhinsk, Krasnoarmeysk, Shcherbinovka, Grodovka, Zhuravka, Mikhailovka, Selidovo and Memrik. In addition, eight counterattacks were repelled.
In this direction, the enemy lost up to 530 soldiers, two tanks, an armored personnel carrier, three vehicles, a French self-propelled howitzer Caesar and other hardware.
