Washington has not changed its mind about calling Russia its enemy after the meeting of the Russian President Vladimir Putin and the US President Joe Biden, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on June 17 on the Evening with Vladimir Solovyov program on the Russia One channel.
“Finally, another issue is the strategy that must not be left unsaid. According to Putin, Washington has named Russia its enemy, and it supports all organizations working for our containment… Has this been negated? It has not,” Kurginyan said.
The political scientist also mentioned the statement of the Russian president’s press secretary Dmitry Peskov that there are no reasons to remove the USA from the list of countries unfriendly to Russia.
On June 16, a summit between the leaders of the Russia and the USA took place in Geneva. This summit was the first meeting of the two countries’ leaders after Joe Biden became the US president.
