The Russian authorities will not be able to withstand the defeat that any failure in Donbass result in, stated political scientist, leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on November 7 on the air of the Right to Know program on TVC TV channel.
The political scientist answered a question about Russia’s readiness for a possible increase of pressure on Donbass if Democratic candidate Joseph Biden wins the US elections. According to Kurginyan, the Russian elite does not want to receive enraged refugees on its territory. However, the expert reminded of the balance between liberal and conservative groups in Russian politics:
“Gradually, this balance is shifting towards conservative groups, but it is far from what we want. Especially when we need to survive like this.
