A huge explosion occurred on an oil pipeline in the state of Anzoátegui in Venezuela, the head of the civil defense service of the state Placid Malawa reported on his Twitter page on April 5.
The video posted on the Internet shows an enormous fire blaze and black smoke rising several dozen meters into the sky.
It has not been reported on what caused the explosion, as well as the number of victims or injured. “We are establishing contact with the civil defense team of the municipality,” writes Placido Malawa in a short message.
The, so-called, opposition, which is supported by the US and some Latin American and European counties continues to provoke riots and demonstrations in Venezuela.
There have been repeated incidents of sabotage on the power grid, as well as the largest power generating plants in Venezuela, which have resulted in power outages throughout the country.
