US conservative forces are also affected by postmodern decay and, while being anti-Ukrainian, they are deeply hostile toward Russia, philosopher, political scientist, and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan said on September 19 on the Conversation with a Sage program on the Zvezda radio channel.
“The modernity consensus is over. Postmodernists are establishing God knows what. It is chaos. The postmodernist chaos. On the global scale. And what exactly they bring to power in its wake is a separate issue,” Kurginyan said.
The political scientist emphasized that even within the conservative camp, a huge number of figures are susceptible to postmodern perversions. “Well, with this Epstein case, everything is clear now, I suppose?! Plenty people in this conservative camp fall prey to such temptations. Whilst the leading media moguls and ideologists of Christian conservatism are also openly homosexual,” Kurginyan explained. He added that one such figure is, for example, Silicon Valley tech mogul Peter Thiel, who promoted and funded US Vice President JD Vance.
An “explosive mixture of many confrontations” has developed within US politics, which will soon inevitably escalate from verbal skirmishes to physical violence, the leader of Essence of Time movement noted.
“And now it has materialized. Kirk has become a cult hero. He managed to establish his organizations, ‘Turning Points’ [Kirk’s organization is called Turning Point – Rossa Primavera News Agency], in some 900 educational entities, and now 32,000 are declaring that they are ready to join. I don’t want to say anything bad about him, but when the abomination of the Weimar Republic and humiliation finally overwhelmed the German people, then a propaganda symbol embodied by Horst Wessel emerged:
“The rotten bones of the earth are trembling before the holy battle,” the political scientist quoted [lines from the official song of the Hitler Youth – translator’s note]. He added that the situation with Charlie Kirk’s murder indicates that a colossal process begins to unfold.
Kurginyan noted that only subject with a very powerful organizational resources could have brought together a million-strong rally in London, and Charlie Kirk himself could not have become so popular without the support of Elon Musk and Peter Thiel.
Russia should not rely on conservative forces in the US, since none of the advisers to former President Joe Biden hated Russia as much as Keith Kellogg, Trump’s special envoy for Ukraine, does, Kurginyan emphasized.
“After all, Brzezinski was essentially an unbridled intellectual, while this one [Kellog] is a mix of Brzezinski and special forces. This is a very serious cocktail. And Kirk was against US support for Ukraine. And we value everyone who opposes this, and every opportunity to calm it down. But that won’t happen. This political wave will continue to grow, and it will still be of a MAGA nature. And Trump is riding this wave – Make America Great Again! He’s so arrogant and so unbridled that everyone else pales in comparison,” explained the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
In the long term, the conservative US political elites will not move in a direction consistent with Russian interests, the political scientist also noted. The Russian leadership will never fight China for the sake of US interests and will not surrender Iran.
“Are we really going to fight the People’s Liberation Army of China? No, we understand: Putin repeated that our relationship could be described as ‘Russians and Chinese are brothers forever.’ Do we want to support Israeli repression against Iran? We won’t surrender Iran! We’ve always been ready to build relations between Israel and Iran, but we absolutely don’t want to surrender Iran. And there are so many of these key points,” he declared.
The US won’t leave Russia alone, even in the case of a civil war in the US, which many in Russia are hoping for. “Behind any civil war stand those who start it and control it. This isn’t a conspiracy theory, it’s a fact. This Kirk could have been killed so that Trump would say something and then keep quiet. But this looks like a wave. And it is gaining momentum in the world,” Kurginyan said.
“But any such wave, when it’s significant, possesses controlling impulses and natural energy. Nobody’s saying that there’s no natural energy, that people are fed up with all this [postmodernist agenda], this is also true for the conservative forces that say, ‘We don’t want to be regularly killed for our beliefs and told that we deserve it.’ But within this situation, there is really something incredibly significant and almost global,” concluded the leader of the Essence of Time movement.
