Russian servicemen detail two-month operation behind enemy lines

Russian servicemen conducted surveillance behind enemy lines for two months, said a soldier with the call sign “Vays” on May 15, according to RIA Novosti.

The soldier explained that his group was assigned a deep reconnaissance mission, which involved monitoring the movement of enemy forces.

During their approach to the designated area, the reconnaissance team came under attack from enemy drones. One soldier was wounded in the arm but continued carrying out the mission.

In total, the reconnaissance team spent two months in enemy territory. Food and medical supplies were delivered to them via drone.
