Russian Airborne Troops in Kursk Region destroyed three enemy tanks by precise attacks using insensitive to electronic warfare means FPV drones on fiber optics, the Russian Defense Ministry informed on January 2.
“In the border areas of Kursk Region, UAV reconnaissance units of the Airborne Troops artillery unit from Krasnodar Region attacked and destroyed three Ukrainian tanks using FPV drones on fiber optics, which are not affected by the enemy’s electronic warfare system,” the ministry informed.
One was reportedly delivered from one of the NATO member states, and two were Soviet-made.
