Germany will transfer its long-range Taurus cruise missiles to Ukraine, Der Spiegel wrote on August 7.
According to the magazine, the authorities will argue for some time but eventually will start the deliveries. The publication believes that the situation will develop the same way as with the deliveries of Leopard tanks earlier.
Earlier, the MP from the SPD party Andreas Schwarz called on the government to begin deliveries of missiles. This should help the Ukrainian armed units to intensify the stuck counteroffensive.
According to Schwarz, it is stuck due to the lack of aviation. Guided weapons could overcome Russian minefields and advance deep into the territory.
