Secretary of the Russian Security Council Nikolai Patrushev urged Russian scientists to actively counteract the ongoing US preparations for bacteriological warfare against Russia at a meeting of the Scientific Council on April 25.
He demanded that the domestic scientific community pay “the closest attention” to specific biological research, which the US conducts within the framework of military programs.
“It should be about actively counteracting the actual preparation of biological warfare against Russia and other states,” Patrushev said.
Earlier, the Russian State Duma published a report, according to which the US intends to develop universal genetically engineered weapons targeting humans, animals and crops.
