March against poverty and NATO held in Prague

A march against the declining standard of living and for withdrawing the Czech Republic from NATO was held on April 16 in Prague.

At the rally and march “Czech Republic Against Poverty,” several tens of thousands of citizens protested against rising utility bills and food and fuel prices.

Some protesters carried banners calling for the country’s withdrawal from NATO.

Earlier, Czech President Petr Pavel declared his readiness to help train Ukrainian militants, as well as transfer Czech military equipment to them.
