Shkolny airfield near Odessa burns after a Russian UAV strike

A fire broke out at the Shkolny airfield near Odessa under the control of Kiev regime after it was struck by Russian Geran drones on the night of April 4, the Telegram channel Russian Spring War Correspondents informs.

“Explosions and shooting in Odessa. The facility at the Shkolny airfield burns after a kamikaze drone strike,” the report reads, which is accompanied by video footage from the ground showing the firing of air defense equipment against the backdrop of the fire.

The Ukrainian armed units had previously used this airfield for drone strikes against Russian facilities in Crimea.

The news portal Public. News earlier informed about the explosions and fire in Odessa. Then the city administration said that the air defense system was active. The air-raid alert for the Odessa region was launched at 1:23 a.m. on April 4.
