Putin awards the Medal “For Valor” to the boy Fyodor from the Bryansk region

Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the decree on awarding the Medal “For Valor” to 10-year-old Fyodor Simonenko, who saved two other children during an attack by Ukrainian saboteurs in the Bryansk region. On March 27, the decree was published on the portal of legal information.

The document reads, “For courage, bravery, and selflessness, shown in the performance of civil duty, to award the medal ‘For Valor.'”

Earlier the schoolboy was awarded the medal of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation “Valor and Courage”.

On March 2, during the attack on a civilian vehicle by Ukrainian militants, Fyodor Simonenko was wounded, but he helped two young children to leave the dangerous area and hide them.
