Certain elite groups in the West believe that Man is a failure of evolution, and they intend to destroy him in order to get something else, said philosopher, political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time movement Sergey Kurginyan on January 13 on the program Conversation with a Sage on the Zvezda radio station.
Experiments with designer embryos, with humans, various so-called improvements to Man through merging him with technology or through gene modification, with its further disposal through euthanasia, all these are the same theory that humanity faced during World War Two, host Anna Sharfan believes.
“Of course,” Kurginyan agreed. He reminded that the World Anti-Communist League, a league of so-called “fighters for democracy,” consisted of Bandera Nazis. And those were people who fiercely hate Russia, and who fiercely hate humanism.
However, Kurginyan stressed, there is also something else, much more serious, in the West.
“The very attitude to humanity, according to which Man is the crown of creation that is supposed to ascend, – all this is infused with profound pessimism in the West,” he said.
Kurginyan explained that the pessimism towards everything related to Man’s abilities has ancient roots. He referred to the words of Shakespeare’s Hamlet about Man as “quintessence of dust.”
“I was in at such confidential conversations where it was quite straightforwardly said that all our species has come to a dead end, that it is a dry branch on the tree of evolution, and this branch must be destroyed. And maybe something new will grow on this wonderful tree,” Kurginyan told.
