Europe has given away its sovereignty to the USA for a number of reasons, including existential hatred to Russia, said political scientist and the leader of the Essence of Time social movement Sergey Kurginyan on September 17 on the Right to Know program on the TVC channel.
According to the political scientist, the reasons why the European states are not sovereign are not trivial, they have a specific feature that is important to Russia.
“I have always lacked perfect understanding, knowing Europe well, how the US keeps it under control. What is the point? Well, there are bases, there is money. But there must be something else, you see? There is something special. It is non-sovereign in a special manner,” the philosopher said.
An important reason, in addition to internal problems, is existential hatred to the Russian state, Kurginyan believes.
“This is a sum of parameters: this existential hatred (of Europe towards Russia – Rossa Primavera News Agency), their readiness to serve the USA, their own problems, their total ignorance of democracy demonstrated on many things,” the political scientist listed the reasons why Europe surrendered its sovereignty to the USA.
Kurginyan noted that the United States of America perceives Europe as “its own controlled territory,” so Europe can be capricious for a while but it will do everything the USA demands.
“No problem, we will re-educate them. Is Scholz bad? We will put someone good in his place. He is not working for Ukraine well enough? We will find someone else who will,” the political scientist explained the USA’s position regarding the European countries.
Russia must understand that it is for our head, and we must accept this Western challenge as one against our existence, Kurginyan concluded.
